1) "curse you! find the outlet for your love down there. no women while i live shall govern me." (pg. 214)

2)Antgone has just cnfessed that she was the one who buried her brother's body and that she was not ashamed of it and also tried to correct Creon, or disagree with a man, which is like a crime in those days. Antigone not only disobeyed the command of a king but also tried to disagree with him. Creon being the king didn't like being corrected even if he was wrong, or being disagreed with. he tell's her that as long as he lived no women will govern him. which is practically saying that he won't let anyone threaten his position. Creon has changed a lot from before being a king. he tells Antigone tht she won't find any sypathy fom him but only in the world of the dead. in this passag Antigone has broken all the rules of a women's role in those days, she has taken a step foward from the regular house wife to standing by her beliefs and dying for a good cause fighting for it like a man. Crean is obssed with power that he dosen't let anything challenge his authority not even when his son asked him to release his fiance, Antigone.

3) why would Antigone go trough all these troubles to fight, to act like a man, to step out of the comfort zone of a womens life those days? is it just out of loyality towards her brother or something else? if it is loyality then why dosen't Ismene feel that way too even though in the end she agrees to take the blame alonside with her sister?
