Finish reading chapter 2 and chapter 3.

For each chapter select a quote that you find important, respond to that quote with important insight (i.e. foreshadowing, textual relevance, a theme you think it relates to, or why it is important), and then ask a question that could guide discussion. For example, are Gene's feelings for Finny platonic? (NOT, what does the word jounced mean?)

Read all of Chapter 1 of A Separate Peace. As you read select one quote you find important, explain the quotes significance, and then ask a question that you think could facilitate discussion in class.

Furthermore, for this specific assignment I'd like you to characterize the two main characters: Narrator and Phinaes.

I'd like you to list 5 adjectives that describe them, and a quote that you feel describes them.
